Pro Tip: Monthly Planning

Use the calendar to spot gaps in your posting schedule. Aim for 3-5 posts per week across all platforms for optimal engagement. Balance content types throughout the month.

2

Creating a New Social Media Post

1

Start Post Creation

Click the "+ Create Post" button in the header, or click the "+" button on any calendar day to start with that date pre-selected.

2

Select Your Platform

Choose which social platform to post to. Each chip shows:

  • Platform icon and name
  • Connected page/account name
  • Checkmark when selected

Only platforms you've connected will appear here.

3

Write Your Content (or Use AI)

You have two options:

  • Manual Entry: Type your post directly (up to 2,200 characters)
  • AI Generation: Click "AI Write" to generate platform-optimized content instantly

The character counter shows your length in real-time, turning orange at 2,000 and red at 2,200 characters.

4

Add an Image (Four Options)

Option A - Your Library: Choose from previously uploaded images. Automatically loads when you open the image section.

Option B - Stock Photos: Search premium stock images using keywords. Click "Search" to find professional photos.

Option C - AI Generated: Describe the image you want, select a style (photo, illustration, minimal, 3D), choose aspect ratio and resolution, then click "Generate Image".

Option D - Image URL: Paste any image URL from the web to use that image.

5

Set Schedule Date & Time

Pick your publish date and time. The system defaults to tomorrow at 9:00 AM. You can schedule as far in advance as needed. Posts will publish automatically at the specified time.

6

Review and Schedule

Check your post preview, verify the platform and date/time, then click "Schedule Post". You'll see a confirmation and be redirected to the calendar where your post now appears.

lightbulb

Pro Tip: Batch Creation

Create multiple posts in one session. The form stays open after scheduling, so you can immediately create another post. Spend 30 minutes scheduling a week's worth of content.

3

Mastering AI Content Generation

1

When to Use AI Writing

AI content generation is perfect for:

  • Writer's block or time pressure
  • Maintaining consistent posting when busy
  • Learning platform-specific best practices
  • Getting started with a rough draft
  • Exploring different angles on a topic
2

How AI Content Works

The AI analyzes your business/account information and generates content optimized for the selected platform. Each platform has different:

  • Tone: Professional for LinkedIn, casual for Instagram
  • Length: Shorter for Twitter, longer for Facebook
  • Hashtags: Many for Instagram, fewer for LinkedIn
  • Emojis: Abundant for Instagram/Facebook, minimal for LinkedIn
3

Using Story Bank Integration

If you have stories in your Life Story Bank, you can incorporate them:

  1. Check the boxes next to stories you want to include
  2. Click "AI Write" - the button will show "Using X stories..."
  3. AI weaves your selected stories into authentic, engaging content
4

Edit AI-Generated Content

AI provides a strong foundation, but personalization makes it great:

  • Add your unique voice and personality
  • Include specific names, dates, or local references
  • Adjust tone if needed (more/less formal)
  • Add or remove hashtags based on preference
  • Customize emoji usage to your brand
5

Regenerate if Needed

Not happy with the result? Simply click "AI Write" again for a completely different version. Each generation is unique. Try 2-3 times to find the perfect starting point.

info

Important: Platform Selection Required

You must select a platform before clicking "AI Write". The AI needs to know which platform you're posting to so it can optimize the content appropriately.

4

Working with Images

1

Upload to Your Library

Click "Upload" in the Library tab to add images. Uploaded images become part of your permanent library and can be reused across multiple posts. Perfect for logos, product photos, and frequently used graphics.

2

Search Stock Photos

Switch to the "Search" tab and enter keywords related to your post topic. Results are high-quality, premium stock images. Click any image to select it. Great for professional lifestyle and conceptual images.

3

Generate with AI

Use the "AI Generate" tab for custom images:

  1. Describe the image you want in detail
  2. Select a style: Photo (realistic), Illustration, Minimal, or 3D
  3. Choose aspect ratio (Square, Landscape, Portrait, Wide, Tall)
  4. Select resolution (Standard, HD, Full HD, 4K, 8K)
  5. Click "Generate Image" and wait 10-15 seconds
4

Use Image URLs

If you have an image hosted elsewhere, paste its URL in the "From URL" tab. Perfect for using images from your website, cloud storage, or other online sources.

5

Preview and Adjust

Once selected, the image appears in a preview box above the tabs. Click the X to remove it and choose a different image. The preview shows exactly how the image will appear in your post.

lightbulb

Pro Tip: Image Best Practices

Square (1:1) works best for Instagram, 16:9 for Twitter/LinkedIn. Use high-quality images (at least HD) for best results. Images with people tend to get more engagement than abstract graphics.

5

Advanced Tips & Best Practices

1

Optimal Posting Times

Schedule posts for when your audience is most active:

  • Facebook: Weekdays 1-4 PM, Wednesday 11 AM-1 PM
  • Instagram: Weekdays 11 AM-2 PM, Wednesday/Thursday best
  • Twitter: Weekdays 9 AM-3 PM, lunchtime spike
  • LinkedIn: Tuesday-Thursday 10 AM-12 PM
  • TikTok: Tuesday-Thursday 9 AM, 12 PM, 7 PM
2

Content Mix Strategy

Balance your content types throughout the month:

  • 40% Educational: Tips, how-tos, insights
  • 30% Engaging: Questions, polls, discussions
  • 20% Promotional: Products, services, offers
  • 10% Personal: Behind-scenes, team, stories
3

Monitor Post Performance

Check back on the calendar after posts publish. Green dots indicate successful publishing. If you see red dots (failed posts), click them to review what happened and reschedule if needed.

4

Batch Content Creation

Set aside 1-2 hours weekly to create all your posts. This is far more efficient than daily creation. Create content for the next 7-14 days at once. Your future self will thank you.

5

Hashtag Strategy

Use hashtags strategically by platform:

  • Instagram: 10-30 hashtags (mix popular and niche)
  • Twitter: 1-2 hashtags maximum
  • LinkedIn: 3-5 professional hashtags
  • Facebook: 1-2 hashtags only
  • TikTok: 3-5 trending hashtags
6

Edit Before Publishing

Scheduled posts can be edited anytime before they go live. Click the post pill on the calendar to open the editor, make changes, and save. Great for last-minute updates or improvements.

lightbulb

Pro Tip: Consistency Over Perfection

Regular posting beats perfect posts every time. It's better to schedule 4 good posts per week consistently than to post sporadically when inspiration strikes. Use the AI to maintain consistency.

6

Troubleshooting Common Issues

1

Post Failed to Publish

If a post shows a red "failed" dot:

  1. Click the failed post to view details
  2. Common causes: expired platform credentials, API limits, content violations
  3. Edit and reschedule the post for a future time
  4. If issues persist, check your platform connection settings
2

Platform Not Showing

If a social platform doesn't appear in the selection list, it means you haven't connected it yet. Go to your platform connection settings and authenticate with that platform's account.

3

AI Content Not Generating

If AI Write button doesn't work:

  • Ensure you've selected a platform first
  • Check your internet connection
  • Wait a few seconds and try again
  • If still failing, write content manually
4

Image Won't Load

If an image doesn't appear:

  • Check that the URL is valid and publicly accessible
  • Try a different image from your library or stock search
  • Ensure image files are under 10MB
  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP
5

Calendar Not Updating

If newly created posts don't appear on the calendar, refresh the page. Posts are saved to the database immediately, but your browser may need to reload to show them.
