"Can I learn how to sell if I hate selling?"
Now, I want you to think about this. If this is you, I want to learn how to sell. I want to be different, but I hate it.
I'm shy. I'm introverted. Right? And if that's you, you can still do this. You can still learn it. The first trick is you have to apply your external motivation, what you really want, what you want to go after, and your daily practice habit. When you can align what your daily routine of practice is with your external motivator,
it won't feel like work you'll stay determined when I was a young man and he used to play sports and I know it doesn't look like I played sports, but one, a long time ago, I used to play sports. And when I did. I used to struggle to be athletic. Oh, I was such a weakling. And then I had finally had a goal of what I really wanted to accomplish.
I saw I wanted to start on the football team. That's all I wanted to do. And all of a sudden, because I had an end goal in mind, it was easier to get into the weight room. It was easier to learn plays. It was easier to practice harder. All of those hard things about practice became easier because I aligned my external motivator with my daily practice routine.
You can, when you're struggling with it, when you're blaming things like introvertedness or shiness, those are excuses for you not doing the work to align correctly your motivators.
