The school’s Drama Club delivered an unforgettable performance at this year’s regional drama competition, earning multiple awards and recognition for their production of *The Enchanted Garden*. Competing against several other schools, the club showcased exceptional talent in acting, stage design, and ensemble work, walking away with three top honors.
The production, directed by Drama Club advisor Ms. Rachel Simmons, mesmerized both judges and audience members with its compelling storytelling and impressive visuals. "I’m so proud of these students," said Ms. Simmons. "They dedicated countless hours to rehearsals, set construction, and costume design, and their hard work has paid off in the best way possible."
The judges praised the club for their emotional range and creativity. "The depth of character and the visual elements were remarkable," one judge commented. "You could see the passion and professionalism in every scene."
Senior Ethan Carter, who played the lead role, shared his excitement about winning Best Lead Actor. "This has been a dream come true," he said. "Performing in front of a packed theater and hearing the applause felt incredible. I couldn’t have done it without my amazing castmates and crew."
Parents and supporters who attended the event were equally thrilled by the club’s success. Many expressed how proud they were to see the students' artistic growth throughout the season.
The Drama Club plans to celebrate their achievements with a special showcase performance on campus next month. The school community is invited to attend and witness the award-winning production.
