How can I get my child to eat? How many other Mom's or Dad's have struggled with something that seems so simple, yet can be so difficult? My name is Sarah Appleman, and first and foremostas a Mom, I understand this all too well. What can I make my kids for dinner?
So, one of my all-time favorite recipes that I have made is sweet and sour meatballs. You could use turkey, ground beef, whatever! I prefer turkey just because it's a little healthier. The kids inhale this. It's one of the best dinners I make. They ask for it every week.
So, the best thing that I would tell you to do: Get this book. Bam! It comes on amazon, and it's full of, I don't know, a million and one different recipes plus my therapeutic tips for how to get your child to eat.
1 What do I want to make for a vegetarian dinner?
Living here in California, there are a lot of vegetarians. So, one of my favorites is a vegetarian chili that kids actually have them line it up and help make a taco stand so that they feel like they're in control. They could ask mom and dad, hey! What do you want to put in your taco? Cheese, lettuce, plain, whatever you want! And the kids get used to touching those things, feeling, putting it in, and then they get the joy of watching mom and dad eat their delicious meal.
