Of course, when visitors first arrive at your site and start reading your copy, they probably do not know you and have no reason to trust you. That is why it is so crucial to build your credibility. You MUST explain why you are qualified to help them or solve their problem. That does not necessarily mean official qualifications. It may simple be that you have experience the problem that brought them to your site in the first place, and you found a solution to the problem that you want to share with them! AND you must show that you are just like them. A great way to accomplish this is by telling a story!

  •  Think about the reasons why you wanted to develop your product or service in the first place. So in Form G of your worksheet, quickly brainstorm a list of why they should by the product from you
  •  Why did you start the business
  •  How did you solve the problem that they still have?
  •  What experience do you have?
  •  Why do you understand their problem?

    Do You Have To Go To The City Where The TEDx Event Is Taking Place To Audition?

    Hi, I'm Frank King. Your TEDx coach at yourtedxcoach.com. I'm here today to answer the question, Do you have to go physically to the city where the TEDx event is taking place to audition?

    No, not even when we're not having a pandemic. Generally you fill out an application, you find the link to the application online, fill out the application.

    If they like your idea and be creative on the application because they get a lot of them. If they liked the idea, they will arrange a zoom or Skype audition. Or they'll just have you send in a two to three minute video overview of your idea and yeah. So you don't have to go to the city where it takes place to, you know, cause I've never done a TEDx talk anywhere near where I live.

    I'm always flown to them to do the actual TEDx talk. So no, you don't have to go to the audition physically. You can do it over zoom or Skype or the five even done them over the phone. I'm Frank King your TEDx coach at yourtedxcoach.com. .
