Do You Have To Go To The City Where The TEDx Event Is Taking Place To Audition?

Hi, I'm Frank King. Your TEDx coach at I'm here today to answer the question, Do you have to go physically to the city where the TEDx event is taking place to audition?

No, not even when we're not having a pandemic. Generally you fill out an application, you find the link to the application online, fill out the application.

If they like your idea and be creative on the application because they get a lot of them. If they liked the idea, they will arrange a zoom or Skype audition. Or they'll just have you send in a two to three minute video overview of your idea and yeah. So you don't have to go to the city where it takes place to, you know, cause I've never done a TEDx talk anywhere near where I live.

I'm always flown to them to do the actual TEDx talk. So no, you don't have to go to the audition physically. You can do it over zoom or Skype or the five even done them over the phone. I'm Frank King your TEDx coach at .
